its out!
I’ve had my eyebrow piercing for over a year now…and I love it!!! I absolutely adore all my piercings, esp since I got all of them spur-of-the-moment lol….but this one never healed!!!Gross hey???
But hopefully it’ll heal ok…kinda scared right now!!!!
Any remedies or tips guys??

Clean it and the area surrounding it very thoroughly. Put some neosporin on it for a few days. Do not put any makeup on it or near it! And see if it still remains infected.

apparently a mixture of salt and water will help get rid of the pus and heal the wound faster, thats what my mom said when i took the one on my belly button out, it worked for me. it burns like a bitch though, thats the only negative.

When i took mine out it had scar tissue but it heals to completely nothing over time..

It will heal fine. The upper part may scar a little. Try to keep it damp, dry dead tissue will be most likely to scar. Put a band-aid over it when you go to bed to stop yourself from rubbing it in your sleep. It will take about 2 weeks to heal shut. I did tattoos and piercings for second job two years ago. Don’t worry it only needs more time.

hey steph you should use emu oil. it’s really g00d for scaring. i used it when i sometimes get a pimple and it leaves a mark, and it works really well. i also have this silicone gel thing callled NEW GEL, i am using it for my scarring from surgery and its been working quite well too, cuz it’s smoothing out the scars. you only have to wear it for 6 hrs a day..so like you can wear it while your sleeping.

Hello, I couldn’t help but notice your eyes…I mean your eyelid in the close up pic of your eyebrow…do you use eyelid stickers?? or is that just your makeup? if you do, where do you get them??

Hey Steph!
Thanx for this post. My sister is 17 and wants to get an eyebrow piercing. I told her not to and my brother explained the whole rationale that it may never heal, ever. His gf had the same issue as you did. I’m gonna show her your video and maybe she’ll reconsider.
Btw, I’ve been told by enormous doctors that asian ppl and dark skin ppl tend to produce extra skin tissue when healing, therefore sometimes leaving a more visible and raised scar. I hope in your case this doesn’t happen. Regardless, you’re still be beautiful. D

I still have a scar….its just not as noticeable in my pics cuz of my makeup…but there’s still 2 big red marks there!! its not bumpy anymore…but gross!
